Hey Kaiser, before any of us forgets, do you have a rough time frame of when you're available to meet up and discuss about the wiki-bot? If so, let me know and I'll try to pass it onto Naui then work something from there.
I guess I'm asking this question because of what hasn't been happening here for a couple of months. What should we do about the lack of process for decision-making on this site, since Cj has been inactive for a while? Disclaimer: Before I continue, if others from the main staff sees this post, especially Cj, then this inquiry is not an attack or an attempt to defame Pscj but rather a concerning question.
So, as the question stated, what do you think? The system we have is clearly lacking since we are missing Cj from this site, being that he is an important component of our process. I knew this situation would eventually happened, sooner or later, and we are unable to implement any major changes, despite us getting some leeway. You and I have some great ideas to further improve this site such as the anime mugshots, redoing the Shokugeki naming order and my prototype templates but we can't really do anything since we need Cj's inclusion. Before I suggest anything, I do want to hear your thoughts about this situation and by the off-chance that Cj will see this post before you or I reply to each other.
I will send Cj a mail about the situation, though I don't think he will come back all of a sudden. I suggest we talk to Naui about this, because he is the remaining bureaucrat and I respect his opinion.
Personally, I don't think Cj ever said we aren't allowed to install those templates. We are administrators, we have the right to implement changes on our own. Cj has the right to give his opinion about those changes, but he can do so when he eventually returns. It's rather difficult to decide on the discussion you were having with him before he left, though.
I suggest we create an "emergency rule" if a staff member remains inactive for a while. The remaining staff can implement major changes, and when the inactive staff returns, they will review those changes and give their opinion about it.
Yeah, I don't expect him to come back all of a sudden too, which prompted me to send you this inquiry today. I know Cj is a busy person and he told me that he will be busy some time ago, but two months of inactivity is a sign for me. I will talk to Naui once I can figure this part out with you as that was my intention from the beginning.
He didn't say that and I'm aware of that fact, but my concern is how much will those review affect the changes we made. So that's what I meant by "we really can't do anything", but I'll reworded it to something less serious next time. All of us are short on time here, if a disagreement happens and we make a compromise soon after, then how much time and manpower can we afford to accommodate them? We have to figure out what's a major or minor thing. As the idiom goes: Work smarter, not harder. I know we have the right to implement changes on our own, like you reworking the main page and me revising the Shokugeki page. As for the discussion with Cj, the only thing that's going for it is the images and minor qualms about who did what. It shouldn't affect anything else.
Sure, guess I'll leave it to you to send a message to Naui about the situation? You should probably suggest the "emergency rule" in that conversation.
I wouldn't worry about those reviews, it shouldn't stop us from implementing changes. I believe he approved most changes we made last time, and we should be able to resolve the minor issues about them. There are some 'bigger' issues we should be careful about, like removing information from Soma's page because it is growing too long (which we did not agree on). I think most changes are pretty minor things, however.
Also, as the second season will be airing soon, I'll be a bit more active for now. I'll be sure to search for some more anime mugshots starting tomorrow.
Yep, I'll talk to him soon then and I will mention the "emergency rule" too. Also, if you can tell Cj about us wanting to change Soma's manga profile picture because, like we talked before, we should have the current depiction of him,
It shouldn't but I would like us to be on the same page for changes with the most scrutiny before we start them. It's really finding that middle ground, but I guess we'll see what happens soon. Ah yes, that issue. Well, if you ever have the time, we can go on chat and discuss about what to do about that.
Alright, cool. I'll still be on here like usual. Although I haven't edit on this site recently. I do log-in to check for any issues.
Well, I do not know CJ's status since, like him, I've been on here a lot less, more than I would like to be. We never came up with a plan should something like this happen except in the case of one of our other former Admins since he also became inactive after a while, but CJ and I were still very active. Although the other guy was inactive for much longer than CJ currently is. If anything, you should leave a message on his wall. Notifying him of your concerns. Most of our rules established during our first reform revolved around a 1 month period before doing things so I expect the same for this situation. Please notify Pscj on his wall your concerns and thoughts and wait a month for an answer. If he does not reply by then, we'll move forward from there.
If this is an "emergency" problem, then the best solution I can consider is possibly elevating one of you to bureaucrats to fill the void in the meantime, perhaps as a provisional one to assist in that decision making. But again, doing so is a major decision that requires that I have CJ's input on it. This also means I may have to tweak a few things in our policies to better prevent situations like this. I would rather have CJ weigh in on this so I dont make preemptive decisions without him knowing. But given how much our current system seems to be working against you, I will put him on the same expiry time limit as anything else to get this moving as quickly as possibly, while leaving it still fair for him to have a chance to respond to your concerns. I hope this helps.
Well, I didn't know about the 1 month period of waiting. Kaiser, Garret and I have been here when we had a lot of activity going on, especially when the first season of the Shokugeki no Soma anime was airing. However, considering how often Kaiser and I are on here now, I guess we're in a similar situation like you and Cj back then. Kaiser did sent or is planning to send an email to Cj at the beginning of this discussion. If you still want me to leave a message on Cj's wall in spite of Kaiser's email, I can. Though, as a disclaimer, I was planning to notify Cj as soon as I sorted this matter out with the remaining staff. This concern/discussion was kinda recent and disjointed in my head and I couldn't really articulate what to say, but the amount of feedback has been extremely helpful. Since Cj is very busy, I'd rather send him a well planned-out response from everyone's inputs than leaving a "spur of the moment" and disjointed reply, as to not waste his time. So Kaiser if you see this comment and Naui's, I'll leave it up to you to still send an email to Cj for more context about this situation or not.
From outside of this Wikia, is a Bureaucrat needed to make higher executive decisions if we talk to the Wikia Staff about external changes, like the Wikia spotlight, etc? If not, then I don't think you need to make one of us to the next position as we can do just as much as the Bcrats, except the whole promoting thing. When it comes down to this situation, we can still run formality just without Cj for the time being. Everyone else is still here to partake in discussion about major changes, and as the "emergency rule" suggested, Cj will definitely have the chance to input his opinion when he comes back.
Nah, don't worry. It's not really a set in stone thing, but it is the most reasonable amount of time that should be allotted to get a response. Sometimes a week is too short, but longer than a month is WAY too long. But anyways, I guess I glazed over the part you mentioned you emailed him, but yeah, that is also a good alternative. If you have a timestamp on that original email, then we can go off of that initial email's initial send date. But I would still say make a mention on his wall as an extra precaution. The more methods you can make to contact him, the better. But yeah, it's good to get a consensus before making an email. If anything, I can do it, but I'll need to know all of your concerns and thoughts first. If we can contact CJ, then that would be the best.
Like I said, it's a consideration. Like you said, we do not need to. To be honest, we used to have 3 bureaucrats, so if we could get another, it would be great. But of course, I wouldn't make that decision on my own. Cj and I would decide that together.
Voting is still a valid option to make big decisions here. No choice but to wait for votes due to slight inactivity. But imo, if two admins have the same solution in mind then it is probably okay to the majority and is likely to be a good move. The probability of that not being the case is relatively low.
Thanks. I guess we'll know about the whole email situation when Kaiser comes online, since he's the one doing it. And Okay, I'll post what we have been talking about on Cj's wall when everything is said and done.
If anything, promoting one of us into a bureaucrats should be a very distant thought. We are currently fine with the site's power and positioning. If that process requires the both of you then so be it, we will wait until the time is right and besides, we have more important things to do. So I hope that helps you in your time here, and not having to tweak with the policy.
I don't know if you actually read the entire conversation because a part of your statement is a huge contradiction to what I'm trying to accomplish with Kaiser and Naui. Let me explain:
"Voting is still a valid option to make big decisions here"
As it should be, not once was voting mentioned here to cease the way we do things with major changes, which I already stated is perfectly fine. We include everyone's opinions in the main staff to bring an equal platform.
"No choice but to wait fo votes due to slight inactivity"
You do realize that this part of your statement is exactly the problem and why I'm bothering to coordinate that concern with Naui and Kaiser right? Above your comment are a plethora of reasons on why this way of thinking needs to be changed. We do have a choice. Please read them, then try to see if you have any issues afterwards.
"But imo, if two admins have the same solution in mind then it is probably okay to the majority and is likely to be a good move. The probability of that not being the case is relatively low."
I'm sorry, but I can't agree with this statement. The reason being is who are currently active to partake in decision-making, which is four at the moment. If we take two for two, then it is a draw and there is no absolute way to tell if the other two will be okay with a proposal/solution that might conflict their beliefs. Hence why we debate on major changes until we reach an agreement or ask the people in question, other than resorting to ad populum or false proposition.
Sorry if my response seems overwhelming to you Garret, but I really need to address any issues from you guys in a dissective way to fully insured future procedures.
Yeah, I read them all. To summarize, I just want to say that we should wait for the other main staff's opinion on the matter (which is what you're doing already), I was just stating the obvious and the problem (w/c is not needed when I think about it). Sorry for the confusion.
About the two for two case, I doubt that will happen even if there are four of us. If it did, it's a rare case. I meant that we should have an active voting session for certain areas/concerns while we come up with a better solution regarding the decision-making, unless the votes of the active staff solves it at that time. If you think that's inefficient, then fine and nvm.
No big deal, glad to clear that confusion. At this point, everyone has given their opinion but either needs to reaffirm it or give more context, then we should be good.
But we had been doing that electoral process the entire time; we debate from all sides then vote on which side you pick. Once we are done with this discussion, then the usual decision-making process will still be the same but without Cj's inclusion depending on the response of the man himself or not. That's the difference. Anyways, thanks for the suggestions Garret.
My deepest apologies to everyone here for not participating in recent times as I have been heavily tolled down by my issues in real life. I missed out on a lot of things and, as Harry said, slowed down on our wiki's progress because many calls required my inclusion.
From now onward, yes. The "emergency rule" stated by Kaiser has my vote. I never said that the other main members here weren't allowed to install templates. As part of the main staff, you are free to install and test out any templates of your liking.
As for the wait period, I guess if the situation like this ever arises, the remaining staff can implement any changes as they like. Though once the inactive member returns, then he should receive a clear notification on all the changes during his absence. The wait period as Naui said, is a month.
Is there anything else that needs my answering? I've been gone an extremely long period but I'm back for now.
Before I vote, starting tomorrow, I will be absent from here for a week because I'm going on a vacation with my family to California. So if you have any request for me, just leave them on my wall and I will get to them when I get back.
**I agree with the Kaiser's suggestion of the emergency rule.
As of now, I'm the usual active admin on this site, so I will be answering your inquiry.
What do you mean by manga page? That's a vague description since we have quite a few pages that are related to the manga. I just updated all corresponding pages today in terms of chapter counts. So if you can direct my attention to the problem, I'll fix it or not depending if the latter is already done.
We have a lot of manga pages, and most of them contain the latest information. I assume you are talking about this template? We actually want to update that one, but most manga images contain watermarks, so we can't really update the image.
Sorry I meant the template like Kaiser said. I meant Shokugeki no soma manga chapter 165 released a couple days ago and you template is still on 163. Sorry if i'm being picky or anything. If you can't find a picture if it why don't you just use the Manga cover of that chapter because they are usually always in color. Also you could keep the same picture since that cook off is still going on and just update the information. Also the Shokugeki no Soma Ova has been released about a week ago it nust hasn't been subbed yet. I know an anime site which has it up and subbers are already working on it.
Well, we normally use the cover image on that template, but those pictures also contain watermarks (also they aren't always in color). I agree about keeping the same picture for now, so I will update the template. Also, it's completely fine. You simply want the best for this wiki!
Yeah, we know about the OVA, though a second part will be released with the next Volume. We will create a page for the OVA soon enough!
And season 2 wouldn't come until summer, where did you hear it is "coming already" because that's kinda false. We have until the June - August time frame to change it, so I don't see the rush to put it on. What are we going to ask? Who's excitied for season 2? that's already a given what the result is going to be. We should wait until we get closer to the release date or after it, to deliberate what we are going to do. In case you didn't know, I recently placed new info about season 2 on the "About" page.
The poll says "the anime is closing" so I thought we should change it with something else. Maybe we could go with how the readers think of the way Erina discovered about Soma's dad and her reaction about it. If you still want to retain the old poll then okay.
Hey Kaiser, I noticed that you cleaned the main Shokugeki page which I agree to, despite being the one who put all those Shokugeki templates lol. However, in regards to how the new content is formatted, is something I believe that can be improved. Rather than leaving the obligatory links to their respective duels, I want to propose a wiki table that will visually aid viewers about them.
The wiki table is exponentially smaller and simpler than the previous template that was on the main Shokugeki page. Additionally, it allows us more freedom to tweak with it, in case something different happens in the plot.
This link will show you three prototypes I made, for the new format of the Notable Shokugeki. A couple of things I want to mention:
1) I know the following examples are not Shokugeki, but I want to show off how versatile this wiki table can be, like the amount of pictures we can put and changing its format easily.
2) As for the linking part, I was thinking we can link the battles on the "VS" picture or make another section just to link the Shokugeki page. Something within that lline.
With all of this said, what do you think, and any suggestion?
Yeah, since we started with creating seperate pages for each Cooking Duel, I thought we didn't need those templates anymore. I liked the idea, but the page was just a bit too messy.
I like these prototypes, though I think the mugshots should link to the character page. We could indeed link to the battles on the "VS" picture, but we could also insert an optional extra header with the name of the Shokugeki/Cooking Duel. I like the freedom we have with these prototypes, I prefer prototype 1 or 2.
I don't know where to put it, so I will write it down here. I actually made some (minor) changes to the main page of the wiki, be sure to check them out.
I removed the main slider for now, as I see no more use for it. I also added a list of characters, though we can always alter the format if necessary. Finally, I chose a new featured article (it was about time). Most of us had already agreed to this a few months ago, but we never changed the template.
Hey Kaiser, can you give your opinion on the new template I recently made? On this link here, under the tab "Experiment 2" I made two prototypes of the same thing, which one looks better to you? I made prototype 1 to fill up the gap on a section of a page if I were to placed prototype 2 on it. For prototype 2, I made it because it will give more space for each character mugshot, and it looks more evenly spaced out.
Hey Kaiser, I think we should change Ikumi Mito's anime profile picture with this one, since it looks similar to other characters' anime picture. Also I saw that you don't like Gin's current anime profile picture and I agree with you. So, let's change that one as well.
I was going to press on about the picture I linked, however. Once I saw the reasons you stated about Ikumi picture, I really agree with them. Remembering now, I believe we vaguely had this talk before, with your choice of Erina's profile picture. A lot of anime profile pictures we have, are too crowded and really zoomed in on their faces. If I had to deliberate, then I opt for your choice of anime profile picture like Ikumi and Erina's. Or revive Choko's argument about opting for square anime picture since I can make the same case for manga pictures.
Also, I just update the wiki tables and templates on my sandbox. Can you tell me which one you prefer, out of the two prototypes under Experiment 1 tab (Don't mind the shokugeki name)? And your thoughts about the new character templates under Experiment 2 tab?
I prefer Prototype 2 for Experiment 1, though maybe we should link to character pages through their mugshots?
Experiment 2 looks fine to me, though I still don't like the autowidth-issues. I would remove Satoshi, Kuga and Tosuke from the E10-template though. They were relieved from their position, but still appear in the other templates (like Tosuke in the 90th Generation one). Also, they aren't the only former E10-members, so are Gin, Kojiro and others.
Also, I don't think we have to opt for those square anime pictures, as there is nothing wrong with the current type of pictures. We just need to be more selective and don't pick any picture that zooms in on their faces, or is too crowded in the background. Some of our manga profile pictures have the same issues, to be honest.
Yeah, that's a quick fix. I keep forgetting to link their pictures.
Why? Even though they were relieved, they used to retain the position of Elite Ten Council, which qualify them to be in that section. When we are referring to a group, we are recording what happen to each member during their time there until they leave. This is the same argument I had with Cj, to which he accentuate that even though Tetsuji was expelled from Totsuki, he is a 91st Generation student as a title, but not in the actual school or retaining student status. This is the same reason why we refer to Joichiru as a 69th Generation Student, even though he left and never graduated with his class year. Adding that sub-section is the solution to the problem that Cj and I were debating about.
If you look at the main header, it is "Totsuki Culinary Academy Students". So, Gin, Kojiro and others doesn't belong in that section.
Also seeing how, in the past few months, this site has been slowly accepting colored manga panel. I'll start replacing the black and white pictures with colored, so it can look visually on-par with anime images. What do you think?
Hey Kasier, I see that you sized the anime mugshots with the same width and height. Not that I have a problem with that, however. With the new character templates, I just want to point out that the cells, margins and borders will make the mugshots remain the same size, despite different width and height. So you can focus more on the actual depiction, rather than worrying if the image will be the same width and height.
Kaiser. Previously, I stated that we don't have to worry about the mugshots being the same width and height, due to the new character template I made. However, I did some testings and I was wrong; we still need to put the same width and height.
Hey Kaiser, I added a new character infobox template on my sand box, under the "Experminent 3" tab. This inclusion will allow us the freedom to choose what color scheme we, the main staff, would want for the color of the infobox and the text as well. Additionally, I made some minor tweaks to shape the infobox a bit better. Here is the infobox page: Template:Character Prototype Infobox
For example, I used this site to determine the color scheme for Eishi and Soma's hair and eye color. Then, I used the former for the color of the infobox and the latter for the text (it don't have to be just the color of the hair or eye, it can be anything). P.S. Don't mind the name part. I set the template to use the page name it is on, to be the title of the infobox.
So, what do you think? This freedom of color choice can be applied to all of the templates we have here. Also, if we don't have a color scheme of a (manga) picture, then we can decide a default color code.
Thanks, and I plan to do the same thing with the dish infobox as well. Also, I'm adding the anime mugshot you are uploading into the new character template, under Experiment 1 tab on my sand box. Feel free to add it on there if you choose to do so. I will make the remaining character templates soon, along with the new format, which I will need your help with.
I'm going to finish the remaining templates later on, however. I replaced Fumio's profile picture with the one you wanted: here and cropped the same picture for a mugshot: here. Feel free to change the mugshot if you don't like how it looks.
To give you a heads up. I'm going to start changing the manga picture into colored picture like we talked about, some of them being yours. However, I'm not changing the actual depiction that you selected, just replacing with color ones.
Hey Kaiser, I added the Satoshi anime mugshot you created on my sandbox2. However, I think it needs to be replace or modify, because it looks out of place with the rest of the anime mugshots you added so far.
Hey Kaiser, I have an inquiry about Chapter 27 page. Why are we still keeping it like that? It has been two years since the page was first created, and we have yet to do anything about it. Should we clean it up?
It does look great. Yeah, those type of OVA tend not to be in high quality as with most DVD bundled manga volume. I don't know why, but since the OVA is already released and leaked into internet, that's probably the real quality. We can wait for a higher quality release, but I personally doubt it would happen.
Yep. Also, I don't know if I asked you this question before, but do you know how to remove the "Manga Stream" watermark? I seen other Wikia(s) who are able to remove it since Manga Stream scanlates their series, like Akame ga Kill. I think we need to address the missing chapter cover problem: either to remove the watermark or start using raw like the One Piece Wiki does.
Same, I tried to do it before but the result turned out to be horrible.
That's a bit tricky because the totsuki exams is technically under the Central Arc, given our definition of it. This is why I was adverse to creating a new arc until we have more obvious context. The Central Arc ends when Azami is not the Headmaster of the academy anymore, due it being a huge overarching theme.
Yeah, I wasn't in France, so I'm fine. Still, I didn't expect terrorists to strike in Paris, and I was shocked to learn of the news. Though I think such terrorist strikes are rather a sign of weakness for IS (I can only hope).
Well, just wondering since it was also mentally stressing as well. Heard they tightened security there after France entered the state of emergency and was also curious as well. Anyways, glad you're okay.
Well, we all know how shaky the IS can be. Though I don't see how attacking a capital of a well-established country prove as weak. If anything, I fear that they might be doing bolder things in the future.
Yeah, the French borders were tightened. Though, personally, I don't live nearby the borders so it's not an issue for me. I don't usually panic from terrorist attacks anymore, so I had no mental breakdown or anything.
Well, the IS lost some of their more important members these last few weeks/months through air raids. When things don't go their way in battle, IS try a different approach, like destroying those historical buildings in Palymra. Basically, they want to antagonize themselves and create more hate against islam. As such, they need to be in our news broadcasts by doing horrible things. If things went well in battle, they wouldn't need to commit those terrorist attacks in Paris. Thus, I can only conclude things aren't going their way.
Anymore? Did something happen before? You can just chat if you see the need to.
I'm not sure about the validity of that statement but good lord, I can't imagine what other things they can do next if your statement is correct. Why do they want people to antagonize them though and make people hate Islam despite claiming they work under their Gods' name is beyond me. Their methods are something out of this world.
Nah, nothing happened. But I'm a historian, I know a lot about terrorist raids, so it doesn't surprise me anymore tbh.
What I don't like about the IS is how they claim they know the truth about the islam. They want us to hate them, while I believe the islam can be a beautiful religion. Did you know Muslims lived in peace with Christians for hundreds of years? The islam is divided to its core, and some groups are just making things worse for them.
Well, these are extremists in a nutshell really, synonymous to bullies in school imo. Yes, I am very well aware actually since this religion plays a pivotal role in my country and I was thought about stories about Nabi and his hijrah to Madinah to Mekkah via a wahyu from Jibril or something like that. Pretty interesting actually :P Islam is indeed a beautiful religion and people need to respect this, same could be said the other way around actually in other religions like Christianity.
The main purpose of religion was always to spread good moral values and spiritual guidance to society and not the exact polar opposite. Though it pains me to say in some corners of the world, there are people who misuse power to preach wrong things about other religions. The best example would be how in the Middle East (plus some places here and there, scattered out in the world), there are pro-Islamic people teaching kids how to despise other religions and only deem their religion as the de facto religion.
Like you said, the world could've been a better place if this issue was placed in better hands.
I hope you're alright, Kaiser. This time it's really in Belgium and I really do hope you're safe. Getting hold of this culprit, although not stated by the ones responsible as the de facto reason for coordinating the attacks half a day ago, might've played a key role as to why Belgium was chosen, though I could be wrong.
It's a very strange decline, to be fair. They were the champions last year, and have one of the best teams in the league. I thought they would finish second or such this season. Can't imagine Hazard, Fabregas and Terry becoming shit over one summer lol.
Anyways, hope Jose stays their manager for a while. They have completely lost the plot, can't see it changing anytime soon. They were absolutely horrible against us. Always nice to win against them though!
You shouldn't worry too much about them. Even if Mourinho were to be fired, I don't think any manager can turn them around by december. Also, I don't think they will attract a top manager just yet, why would Ancelotti come in to save them? It's madness.
It's football, you'll never know. Nevermind Ancelotti, I just wouldn't want another di Matteo incident on us again! We desperately need those 3 points, that's all I'm worried about. Our form has been so poor attack-wise.
Nah, Di Matteo was never a great manager. Chelsea were pretty good back then, but Villas-Boas wanted to play a high line defence which didn't work at all. Di Matteo managed to turn things around by introducing a solid, static defence but even so, he was a very lucky man to have won the Champions League. The current Chelsea team doesn't play the high line defence under Mourinho, but his players don't know how to defend properly anymore. If Mourinho were to be fired, and Ancelotti came in, he probably wouldn't park the bus anymore and that Chelsea defence would be exposed. Cahill and Terry are too slow to play in defence anymore :p
Would you take fourth place right now? With Liverpool finishing third of course ;) Can't see Arsenal finishing below second place.
Wow. Nice assessment to the team. You know Chelsea like the back of your hand. But it's Chelsea and they often get away with things like a cheap draw and such. Much like United under Fergie :P
No, I will never take fourth. I'm only content with the top 2. Liverpool can gladly take third which is highly possible and Arsenal can take their beloved 4th spot ;)
Call me bias, but I see the repeat of the last few seasons in the making for Arsenal. They always look like they're gonna cut it but fail miserably at the end, much like the 2010/11 season and similar occurences in the seasons after. It could due to injuries like always or it might be fatigue that kicks in to key players like Sanchez and Ozil would are basically carrying the team. Aresnal's squad is still incomplete and not many players in the bench can fill up the shoes of Carzola, Coquelin, Ozil and Sanchez. Let's not forget key players like Bellerin, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Koscielny and co are all currently injured.
United need sort themselves out right now with this chance. We have less to worry about since it's just LVG's tactics that need reconsideration. I'm no expert but, fix Rooney and Depay, place Martial on the centre and that should pay dividends and resolve most of our dullness in attack.
Mourinho: Special One
Klopp: Normal One
Wenger: Five One
You are right about that fourth place, you should aim for top 3 at least (as to improve on last year). I would love Arsenal claiming their fourth place as usual, but they have done pretty well in 2015 tbh. They sorted out their defensive issues with Coquelin and found a real gem in Bellerin. Mertesacker is horrible this season though. Their attack is fine, Giroud will score a fair amount of goals and Oxlade-Chamberlain was doing well.
You are right about their injury record though. Wilshere and Ramsey are already injured as well. Sanchez needs a rest, though Ozil is doing fine. If United manage to sort out their issues, they can beat Arsenal to second place, but for now, I think Wenger will find a solution.
It's becoming more and more evident that its not down to conincidence or bad luck but just Wenger's sheer stubbornness to alter their training regime. It's has to be the way he plans his training schedule. A consistent starting XI for them are definitely contenders for the league title, which now obviously isn't the case since only Campbell is the only player uninjured since the start of the season.
Well yeah, best part is their position in the table now :)
Nah, it's too early to just give him the sack. To be honest, we did okay against Chelsea and if we continue to play like that, results will come our way. We are also unfortunate at times in some of the matches. Also, I'm not sure I want Mourinho in. You see the controversial things he has done and said in Madrid and Chelsea and sometimes feel I'd rather go for someone else. Though if he really did come, I wouldn't object and would respect the board's decision.
Well, I don't know about Leicester but they were horrible against Liverpool and Man City. I can see them losing points from now on, as they really need Vardy and Mahrez to win them the three points every match. In that case, United and Liverpool can battle for fourth place. Tottenham is doing great, can see them making top four.
Yeah, you played well against Chelsea. Though you haven't won in eight games, that's a lot really. I would give Van Gaal at least until February before sacking him though. I'm not sure about Mourinho, he is a great manager, but I wouldn't want him near my club.
My thoughts exactly. This is the EPL, the league with the highest injury rate in all major football leagues. Surely when those two are worn out or injured, they will slump in form. Hope United and Liverpool go for Top 4 because it'd be a waste to give Leicester the UCL spot, since I think they're a one season wonder team, just like Athletico few seasons back.
