Akira's signature curry dish uses water instead of coconut milk to cook his curry chicken. Referenced from the Southern Regions of India, Hayama's version of the Kerala dish would consist of some fresh spices inside the dish.

"Kozhi Varutha Curry" is literally "Fried Chicken Curry" in Malayalam, the native tongue of the South Indian state of Kerala. Chicken curry is a very popular dish amongst Keralites, usually served with rice.
