Kanon has a standoffish demeanor that makes her often act rude towards new people. She can act like quite a cold girl at first, but she opens up later on as Sōma Yukihira and Megumi Tadokoro guide her in cooking gyoza.

- Surprise-Filled Gyoza - A simple dish taught to the DEF Kitchen children by Sōma Yukihira and Megumi Tadokoro. After catching their attention with their skills, the duo taught the children to make this simple dish that is filled with various fillings to create a medley of different Gyoza for the children to enjoy.
Etymology[]
- The name Kanon means "flower, blossoms" (花) (ka) and "sound" (音) (non).
Trivia[]
- Kanon's age was revealed in one of the side recipe illustrations in the manga and on the released tankōbon chapter counterpart.[1]
