Final Exams (学期末試験, Gakkimatsu Shiken) is the first episode of the fifth season of the Shokugeki no Soma anime and is the seventy-fourth episode overall.
Plot Summary[]
The Elite Ten is beginning their summer at the beach. While there, Erina announces the team is having the first term finals, where the second-years have been divided up between the ocean, mountain, and river courses. Everyone will be taking the final exam at the ocean. Instructor Suzuki, the new teacher from the spring semester at Sōma's school, is introduced and the ladies admire him. Suzuki tells everyone that they're going to run the restaurants at the beach clubhouses in the ocean course. While training, Sōma meets up with Suzuki for the first time, feeling like they know each other. Megumi questions what all this is about, but Sōma does not now.
